Currency: Seychellois rupee but US dollars are accepted widely.
Language: English, French and Seychellois Creole are official languages, almost everyone speaks English.
Visa: 90-days visa on arrival for all nationalities, the visa is free.
Climate: Temperature almost remains the same throughout the year, on Mahé it varies from 24 to 30 °C. The best time to visit is from May to November when the southeast trade winds blow regularly making it the most pleasant time of the year.
Trivia: Victoria, the capital city of Seychelles, is the smallest capital in the whole world.
Most of the resorts and hotels offer full board options that include breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you are staying on Mahe island, you’ll find many other restaurants however dinner buffets are usually quite expensive in the resorts costing around 80 US$.
Seychelles International Airport located on the island of Mahé near the capital city of Victoria serves as the international airport.
Taxis are readily available at the airport, but it’s recommended to prearrange it with your hotel or resort. Public transport is not feasible.
